I made this two-minute longform TV commercial in 1979 interviewing astronaut Gene Cernan, visionary thinker Barbara Marx Hubbard, and rocket scientist Jesco Von Putkammer (1 of von Braun's young scientists). After all this time, I still love what they said. I only wish I had the outtakes. I did not have the vision at that time to save them.

I had the chance to spend a year examining my youth and how I became an active member of the 60s generation. If you are from that generation or a child of the 60s, I think you would find the entire series of value. To see my other work visit www.theHoffmancollection.com

A quote from Hesiod, 8th Century BC “I see no hope for the future of our people if they are dependent on frivolous youth of today, for certainly all youth are reckless beyond words. When I was young, we were taught to be discreet and respectful of elders, but the present youth are exceedingly disrespectful and impatient of restraint"

I am very proud of the work I did to create a series that helps younger generations understand a bit better what happened back then. See more of my clips from this series on this channel.

What I am presenting here is a rough cut of a never completed television documentary where I interviewed Internet big thinkers. The interviews were conducted in 2001. I place it on YouTube now hoping that it will be helpful to those studying Internet history. To see my other work, please visit www.thehoffmancollection.com.
