E Way Bill by SMS or E-Way bill generation through SMS from registered mobile number or how to use SMS based e-Way Bill system.
Steps or Pre-requisite:
Login using his/her username and password on the website which is www.ewaybill.nic.in
Go to ‘Registration’ menu and select ‘for SMS’ option
Select the user and particulars of user are shown with mobile number
(The tax payer/transporter can register maximum 2 mobile numbers for the m-Way Bill purpose)
The system will validate the registered mobile number

EWBG – e-Way Bill Generate Key Word – It is fixed for generation
TranType - Transaction Type – Refer to the Code list
RecGSTIN - Recipient’s GSTIN. If it not there, then URP for ‘UnRegistered Person’
DelPinCode - PIN Code of Place of Delivery of Goods
InvNo - Invoice or Bill Number of the document of supplier of goods
InvDate - Invoice or Bill Date of the document of supplier of goods
TotalValue - Total Value of goods as per Invoice/Bill document in Rs.
HSNCode - HSN Code of the first Commodity
ApprDist - Approximate distance in KMs between consignor and consignee
Vehicle - Vehicle Number in which the goods is being moved
Update the Vehicle details- Tax Payer or Transporter

EWBV EWB_NO Vehicle ReasCode
Cancel the E-WayBill- Tax Payer or Transporter

EWBC EWB_NO

E-Way bill will be implementing from 01-02-2018 for Inter State Transport and for Intra State Transport from 01-06-2018 in all over India.
E way bill is rolled out on a trial basis from 16th Jan 2018 , so it is necessary to get knowledge about E Way bill.

E-Way Bill is an electronic way bill for movement of goods which can be generated on the e-Way Bill Portal.
Transport of goods of more than Rs 50,000 in value cannot be made by a registered person without an e-way bill.
E-way bill can also be generated or canceled through SMS.
When an e-way bill is generated a unique e-way bill number (EBN) is allocated and is available to the supplier, recipient, and the transporter.
E-way bill will be generated when there is a movement of goods of value more than Rs.50,000 In relation to a ‘supply’.
There are all type of movements of Goods Cover under E-Way Bill. Which Include Rejection, Sale Return, Repair & Maintenance, Job Work or material send for Job Work with a Delivery Challan.
The validity of E-way Bill is:
#00 to 100 Km. : 01 Days
#100 to 300 Km.: 03 Days
#300 to 500 Km. : 05 Days
#500 to 1000 Km. : 10 Days
#More than 10000 km.: 15 Days
The penalty of non-filling of E-way Bill is 200% of GST value of invoice.
