GST council meeting is held on 06.10.2017 with major announcements about GST.
Highlights of GST major changes are:
1) Limit of turnover to opt GST composition Scheme is increased to 1 Crores from 75 Lakhs.
2) Quarterly returns for businessman having turnover utpo 1.5 crores instead of monthly GST returns. but upto July, august and September Monthly return will sustain from october onwards they can opt for quarterly return.
3) RCM deffer upto March 2018
4) E way bill defferred upto April 2018
5) Announcement about refunds to exporters.
6) GST rates of 32 items reduced.
