There's been some big news slipped into the internet, so let's talk about it! In an interview to Mamytwink, WoW dev Cory Stockton mentioned that 6.2 is planned as the final major content patch for Warlords of Draenor, with Hellfire Citadel being the final raid. Let's discuss a few different aspects of that news and what it means for us as players! Also, a healthy dose of release date speculation for WoW's mysterious next expansion.

Note- I talk about WoD costing $69 USD but that was only for the Digital Deluxe edition. The base game was $49 USD, still a $10 price jump over previous years.

One angle of this news that I had in mind but forgot to go over was the possibility that the new staff added to WoW's team last year compounded development issues resulting in the potential lack of WoD content we're discussing. This could be true, but I feel like I've been hearing it for a while. They must have assimilated by now, perhaps? Maybe they were all set to work on the next expac and didn't touch Tanaan Jungle and 6.2.
